Cheese has been made with passion at Hochland since 1927. As a family business, Hochland combines a credible history with Allgäu origins and cheese expertise. From the very beginning, our two founding families have dedicated themselves heart and soul to the craft of cheese making. We continue to live this claim in all subsequent generations. With us, every employee of the cheese dairy feels part of the family. Therefore, we take care of what we produce every day here in the beautiful Allgäu region with responsibility and love. We feel connected to man and nature and we act in harmony with it. This is the only way to keep the spirit of our founding families. This responsibility is a real matter of the heart for us as a family business!

As an Allgäu family-run cheese dairy, we believe in the special, close bond with our region and with our loved ones, and the wonderful feeling of doing something good for others. Therefore, we also want to accompany the small, everyday moments of caring with our cheese.

Thus, we maintain long-standing, trusting contact with our farmers, our suppliers and, above all, with our employees. Our long-standing employees put all their knowledge into our products and are passionate about what they do. You can simply taste that!
