Preuss Messe and PR agency Industrie-Contact team up
Preuss Messe Baugesellschaft mbH, from Holm, close to Hamburg, and Industrie-Contact (IC), PR and communications agency based in Hamburg, have agreed on a cooperation.
The partnership’s goal is to combine high quality exhibition stand construction with professional communication activities to make exhibitors’ trade show presentations even more successful.
Synergy effects for both sides
Preuss Messe, Germany’s oldest and one of the most successful exhibition builders with about 300 projects a year, have already supported its customers for many years by providing services that go beyond plain trade show constructions. Innovative products, such as the “Twister Wall”, offer a new, efficient advertising space at the booth. The tool “Card Wizard” is used to collect customers’ data in real-time and supports the exhibitors in their contact management effectively.
Industrie-Contact has been around for nearly 30 years now and has always been successful regarding their national and international clients’ communication matters. By specific communication activities IC draws attention to its customers’ services and solutions. During trade shows the agency achieves previews and reviews in a wide range of media, which draws more potential customers to the booth. It also increases demands beyond the actual trade show. Through taking care of journalists at the booth directly IC is able to boost numbers and quality of media coverage to a great extend.
Peter Preuss, CEO of Preuss Messe, and Uwe Schmidt, IC’s CEO, see various benefits, especially for their customers, in their cooperation. Peter Preuss: “One, who does not consider sales and communication as two disciplines working apart from each other, benefits only from advantages. We can pass on these benefits to our clients as experienced well-practiced partners.”
Uwe Schmidt, the PR agency’s CEO, adds: “Anyone who takes a look into trade show media centers notices especially one thing: Compared to the number of exhibitors there are very little press boxes booked and staffed with press kits. Apparently most companies do not know how important public relations are to increase commercial success. Especially the media and communications activities around a trade show are uniquely efficient.”
There is something more both companies, Preuss Messe and Industrie-Contact, can benefit from: Preuss is part of OSPI network (Octanorm Service Partner International) and connected with over 150 exhibition construction partners in over 50 countries. IC in turn partners with Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) and is connected to nearly 50 agencies in about 30 key markets. “The combination of these two international networks provides our clients mutual huge business opportunities all around the globe”, both company heads underline.
