SoM: useful for PR work?

Industrie-Contact (IC) organized an event with Mathias Will, the social media expert and operator of the well-known blogs netz-leben.org. The event worked out precisely what role social media play in modern public relations, which customers they serve and what time and financial commitment make sense.

It was also discussed, which restrictions Twitter, Facebook & Co. have, and what role Google + can take over in the future when it is made generally available.

The guests at the event were very impressed by the depth of information and constructive discussion, as facts and perspectives were explained objectively beyond the general social media hype.
