Leonie Oelschlägel has been a volunteer in the Industrie-Contact team since April 2026.
Studies & practical experiences
After graduating from high school Leonie had the opportunity to return to the country she already had visit as an exchange student during 10th grade. New Zealand has captured her heart, so she spent several months working at her former school in Dunedin whilst travelling to distant lands and cultures. In October 2019, she began a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication with a minor in Psychology. During this time, Leonie gained experience in PR and public relation through various internships and completed her studies with a Master’s degree in Journalism and Communication at the University of Hamburg. She was also employed as a research assistant at the University of Hamburg.
Free Time
Leonie comes from a sporty family who have always encouraged team sports. Besides skiing, tennis and handball, she can be currently found at the gym and in Tae Bo classes. She enjoys listening to music and goes to various concerts.
